Seeds of Faith

I was pursuing an ongoing research project I have developed specific to my interest in psychoneuroimmunology and supporting evidences from the teachings or experiences of Christ, when I came across this enlightening detailed bit of information. I had to record it.

Luke 17:3-6

3 Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.

4 And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.

5 And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith.

6 And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.

In Luke 17:1-6, Jesus taught His disciples about bitterness and unforgiveness and about how to remove these evil forces from one’s life. As an illustration, Jesus likened these forces to the sycamine tree that was so well known in that part of the world. The word “sycamine” comes from the Greek word sukaminos, and it is the Greek word that refers to a tree that grew throughout the Middle East.

When you understand everything that is connected to the sycamine tree, you’ll know exactly why Jesus chose to use this tree as an example of bitterness and unforgiveness in Luke 17:6. In that verse, Jesus told His disciples, “...If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.” Notice that Jesus said, “…Ye might say unto this sycamine tree…” The word “this” indicates that Jesus was pointing out something very specific to them.

Keep in mind that Jesus was speaking of getting rid of bitterness and unforgiveness. In Luke 17:3, He told the disciples that they needed to forgive those who sinned against them. He then took it to the maximum in Luke 17:4 by saying that even if a brother does something wrong seven times in one day and is each time truly repentant, they were to keep on forgiving that offending brother.

Forgiving once is already a challenge for most people. But to forgive someone seven times in one day almost sounds impossible to many folks. It must have sounded preposterous to the disciples as well, for they said, “…Lord, Increase our faith” (Luke 17:5). This statement was the equivalent of their saying, “Lord, we don’t know if we have enough faith to forgive so many times in one day. You’ll have to increase our faith if we’re going to do this seven times in one day!”

That is when Jesus began to teach His disciples about speaking to bitterness and unforgiveness. He said, “...If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree.…” When Jesus used the word “this,” it was the equivalent of Jesus’ telling them, “Bitterness and unforgiveness are just like the sycamine tree - and if you really want to be free of these attitudes, you can speak to this menacing growth in your life and command it to be planted in the sea!”

Before we can understand what Jesus taught about getting rid of bitterness and unforgiveness, we first need to see why He used the sycamine tree to illustrate these destructive forces. Was there a particular reason why He didn’t use an oak tree, an apple tree, or a palm tree in this illustration? Why did He use the sycamine tree to symbolize the detrimental effects of bitterness and unforgiveness in a person’s life?

As you look at the characteristics of the sycamine tree listed below, I believe you will compre­hend why Jesus used this particular tree in this context.

1. The sycamine tree had a very large and deep root structure.

The sycamine tree was known to have one of the deepest root structures of all trees in the Middle East. It was a vigorous and robust tree that grew to a height of thirty feet or more. Because its roots went down so deep into the earth, it was very difficult to kill. Hot weather and blistering temperatures had little effect on this tree because it was tapped into a water source down deep under the earth. Even cutting it to its base would not guarantee its death because its roots, hidden deep under the ground, would draw from underground sources of water, enabling it to keep resurfacing again and again. In other words, this tree was very difficult to eradicate.

No wonder Jesus used this tree as an example of bitterness and unforgiveness! Like the sycamine tree, bitterness and unforgiveness must be dealt with clear to the roots, or they will keep springing up again and again. The roots of bitterness and unforgiveness go down deep into the human soul, fed by any offense that lies hidden in the soil of the heart. That hidden source of offense will cause these evil forces to resurface in a person’s life over and over again. It will take a serious deci­sion for that person to rip those roots of bitterness and offense out of his heart once and for all so they can’t grow back in the future.

2. The sycamine tree’s wood was the preferred wood for building caskets.

In Egypt and the Middle East, the sycamine tree was considered to be the preferred wood for building caskets and coffins. It grew quickly and in nearly any environment, making it accessible in many different places. It also grew best in dry conditions - the kind of conditions for which the Middle East is famous. These are two reasons sycamine wood was used in so many places for building caskets and coffins.

Again, we can see why this illustration of the sycamine tree is so ideal for portraying bitterness and unforgiveness. Just as the sycamine tree grew very quickly, so does bitterness and unforgiveness. In fact, it doesn’t take too long at all for these evil forces to get out of control and start taking over the whole place! When these fast-growing and ugly attitudes are allowed to grow freely, they not only spoil the condition of your own heart, but they ruin your relationships with other people.

Also, just as the sycamine tree grew easily in every environment, so does bitterness. It doesn’t matter where people are from, where they live, what kind of cultural background they grew up in, or what level of society they belong to - bitterness and unforgiveness grow in human hearts every­where, for they are universal in their scope of evil influence.

The sycamine tree grew best where little rain fell and water was sparse. Isn’t this just like bit­terness and unforgiveness? These negative attitudes flourish where spiritually dry conditions exist. You can almost count on finding bitterness and unforgiveness growing and blossoming where there is no repentance, no joy, and no fresh rain of the Spirit.

And don’t forget that sycamine wood was the preferred wood for building caskets and coffins. What a powerful message this is! It tells us that bitterness and unforgiveness are deadly. Harboring bitterness will spiritually bury you more quickly than anything else! These attitudes are the materials that Satan uses to put you six feet underground!

Let me stress this point to you because it’s so important: If you permit bitterness and unforgive­ness to grow in your life, it won’t be long until these attitudes have killed your joy, stolen your peace, and canceled out your spiritual life!

3. The sycamine tree produced a fig that was very bitter to eat.

The sycamine tree and the mulberry tree were very similar in appearance; the two trees even produced a fruit that looked identical. However, the fruit of the sycamine tree was extremely bitter. Its fruit looked just as luscious and delicious as a mulberry fig. But when a person tasted the fruit of the sycamine fig, he discovered that it was horribly bitter.

Mulberry figs were delicious and therefore expensive. Because of the cost of this fruit, it was primarily eaten by wealthier people. But the sycamine fig was cheap and therefore affordable to poorer people. Because the poor couldn’t afford the luscious mulberry fig, they munched on the sycamine fig as a substitute.

However, the sycamine fig was so bitter that it couldn’t be eaten whole. In order to consume an entire sycamine fig, the eater had to nibble on it a little bit at a time. After a pause, the eater would return to nibble on it again, but he could never devour a entire piece of this fruit at one time; it was just too tart and pungent to eat at one sitting.

Jesus lets us know that like the sycamine fruit, the fruit of bitterness and unforgiveness is bitter, tart, and pungent. Like the fig, most people who are bitter and filled with unforgiveness chew on their feelings for a long time. They nibble on bitterness for a while; then they pause to digest what they’ve eaten. After they have reflected deeply on their offense, they return to the memory table to start nibbling on bitterness again - taking one little bite, then another little bite, then another. As they continue to think and meditate on their offense, they internalize their bitter feelings toward those who have offended them. In the end, their perpetual nibbling on the poisonous fruit of bit­terness makes them bitter, sour people themselves.

And just as the primary consumers of the sycamine fruit were poor people, those who sit around and constantly meditate on every wrong that has ever been done to them are usually bound up with all kinds of poverty. Their bitter attitude not only makes them spiritually poor, but they are also frequently defeated, depressed, sick, and financially poor as well.

4. The sycamine tree was pollinated only by wasps.

It is very interesting to note that the sycamine tree was not naturally pollinated. The pollina­tion process was only initiated when a wasp stuck its stinger right into the heart of the fruit. Thus, the tree and its fruit had to be “stung” in order to be reproduced.

Think of how many times you have heard a bitter person say: “I’ve been stung by that person once, but I’m not going to be stung again! What he did hurt me so badly that I’ll never let him get close enough to sting me again!” It is likely that people who make such a statement have been “stung” by a situation that the devil especially devised to pollinate their hearts and souls with bitterness and unforgiveness. When a person talks like this, you can know for sure that the wasp of bitterness got to them!

Jesus said that in order to rid this nuisance from one’s life, a person must have faith the size of “a grain of mustard seed.” The word “grain” is the Greek word kokkos. It describes a seed, a grain, or a very small kernel. Jesus uses the example of a “mustard” seed in this example. The word “mustard” is the Greek word sinapi, which refers to the small mustard plant that grows from a tiny, miniscule seed.

By using this word, Jesus was telling His disciples that a great amount of faith is not needed to deal with bitterness and unforgiveness. Any person who has even a tiny measure of faith can speak to bitterness and unforgiveness and command them to leave - if that is really the desire of his heart.

Next to the oak, the traveler in Palestine meets most frequently with the carob-tree. The tree sometimes called "Sycamine" in the Scriptures, and sometimes "Sycamore," is next in frequency of appearance. It is really a species of wild fig, and quite peculiar as a fruit-tree, in that its fruit grows not at the ends of twigs, but on short stems which put out from the bark of the larger branches. Each stem bears several figs, and they put out in hunches, sometimes encircling the limbs. The figs are small and not very palatable. The trees bear several crops in the year, sometimes, it is said, as many as seven.

To Blame Government or Authorities in a Democratic Republic is to Set Up a Patsy

The problems of society are not a result of government officials, the collective morals of the members society are to blame - meaning; the choices of the majority of influential individuals are being made irrespective to moral standards that form a foundation for society and as a consequence civility, unity, and progress lose their footing and begin to slip away. Blaming the government is an appealing way of losing sight of the fact that we as individuals and collectively as society need to change by living up to the moral standards upon which this country was sought after and set up. Scape-goating is an easy way of shifting attention away from where it is uncomfortably needed - oneself, it is the pernicious socially accepted epidemic that ravages this nation. The U.S. Constitution begins:
  • We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

Why do we as the inheritors of such a noble social experiment that requires its societies members to actively hold up the flame of unity, justice, and domestic tranquility feel that this document reads:

  • We the aristocracy, the wealthy, the high officials, the millionaires, the shameless, the private servants, the "leaders", in order to keep a unity, determine justice, insure our version of tranquility, provide...

This country's power is rooted in its people. When the people are persuaded to relinquish or neglect that responsibility the nation dwindles. Those we put in authority over us reflect what we as a people will tolerate and what we will not tolerate. It reflects our values and priorities. Make no mistake the power in this country is in the hands of the people, so let us look at ourselves, our values, and our priorities for the reasons that our nation as a whole begins to lose its virtue.

True Power

Magnanimous spirit is the one that with capacity to free self from pain and suffering endures for the sake of the benefit of patience for another.



To have the power to repay ill with immediate justice and defer for the sake of the very ones that injure, that is power.



To be humiliated, to be slandered, to be reviled, to be forsaken, to be forgotten, to be maligned, to be exiled, while holding the power to overthrow, with the power to throw down those that live in high towers with no foundations, to temper that flame - that shows true power.



Can you put aside the ability held to destroy, even when immediately justified for the uncertain sake of a hope that is not even for yourself? For the charity of another's chance to change, for the very malefactors, the servants of damage and disease?





No one would do so without a belief that correct behavior, behavior based in morality, in righteousness, is the path to ultimate rewards unattainable by anything less, something no short cut would present, something no deception could create.



The hardest thing an intelligent person can bear is to live among masses of uninspired and less enlightened minds. The paradox though, yet remains. The very intelligence that can attest to the injustices and decries the wrongs, the wellspring of redress and retribution can equally see the prudence and purpose in patience and long suffering. For what makes up a man or woman other than what they have adopted in the experiences of their lives. And would you not punish an experienced person who knowingly does you wrong in contrast to the inexperience and brash ignorance of youth? How do you then measure intent? How do you then measure allegiance to improvement to all things edifying or all things destructive? How do you measure the soul of a human being that has not lived out their life and conclusively determined what they are to be?



Characters polarize and in the end there are few. On one end, the character that has designed a disposition of enmity for sake of self, carrying with it the burden of being hollow, lonely, miserable, and terribly vicious and dangerous to others; on the other polar end the character that has designed a disposition of equality, love, and charity. In the end we subject ourselves to one of these two masters. And how does a single act or even a million acts compare to the whole of the trillions upon trillions of acts in the culmination of those polar ends relative to the short interim of this human mortal life? What man or woman has the capacity to peer into the future and make that assessment in the present, calculating all the variables of a life lived, past, present, and future? Only with such factors could a truly just judgement be rendered, because only then could one conclusively know that suffering the injustices presented by another would have no effect in assisting that individual. How many Jean Valjeans are there that will change given enough charitable candlesticks? Such is the substance of an intelligent person. Such is the substance of the intelligence that governs and dictates their behaviour.





Intelligence is knowing the course, and because you know it, navigating it in the most beneficial way. It is to see clearly the facts and behave appropriately for the desired end. An intelligent person understands that they don't have the power to peer through time and the conclusive comprehensive volumes that determine a person's character. Without a clear depiction of how suffering the ills of others with forgiveness, patience, and long suffering will impact those individuals, prudence dictates that a forgiving and long suffering disposition be adopted so to give all individuals every available opportunity. It does not mean should we have a choice we knowingly put ourselves in positions of potential suffering, damage, or disease, that is definitely not intelligent. However once within the position of having been wronged, the intelligent person is governed by the assumption that if you have no way of distinguishing between those that would benefit from being treated with forgiveness, long suffering and patience, then you must be such to all. Such an assumption would result, in the end, in some individuals that would otherwise not benefit from forgiveness, patience and long suffering getting such behaviors. But this is needful because the alternate assumption would ultimately deny the benefit from such actions for those individuals that would benefit.



An intelligent person would realize that the better order of behavior is the one that provides benefit for the most people, after all, intelligent individuals living this mortal life understand that they are not perfect and will also have need of such virtues at times from others. And if they esteem themselves to be just, how could they expect something from someone that they themselves are not prepared to render to others. A moral code or order based on completely denying such virtues would ultimately be detrimental to all human beings. A moral order based only on individual preferences would be unequal and lead to further contention due to malcontent for injustice of personal preferences. It would cause more of a stumbling block for those already in need of being helped.





Intelligent people are those that realize that materialism ends at death as does hedonism. And while there are many that refute that there is life after death, an intelligent person would concede the point that having no substantive evidence in popularized mediums to substantiate a designated outcome, does not in truth make a conclusive or valid argument for a verdict. Truth remains whether we recognize it or not. Two thousand years ago tell a man about molecules and atoms and electrons and they would have called you possessed of an evil spirit, after all without a microscope, electron microscope, or the other highly technical equipment which makes such discoveries palatable to the greedy hunger pangs of sight thereby accessing our minds and belief systems, it would of been difficult if not impossible to convince people of such truths. People are so myopic that they use to kill others for believing that the world was not the center of the universe. How did the truth-tellers of a spherical planet fare to the demon-ization of the disbelief by the flat earth believers. Have people really had so many experiences throughout the ages and still hold incredulous the belief that life continues after death just because they don't have immediate proof or understand how it can be done? What do you suppose mankind will look back in 2000 years and say of our society? Will they, like us, look back and say, how is it that they couldn't believe such and such when it is so apparent. What does it say about our arrogance as a people and individuals? What arrogance and pride it is to believe that just because we as a people can't do something, it can't be done, or just because we don't understand something it must not be. If I were apart of a superior race, that virtue alone would prove the danger in sharing such knowledge, technology and ability, and keep me from exposing such truths. After all, look at how we take care of each other, our planet, and the powerful secrets of nature which we have exploited for such mass destruction and deleterious ends. The truth is that there are evidences that individuals can find for themselves about life after death, only they are not popularly held mediums of verification. Prayer and spirituality in society is not highly regarded. Yet evidences do exist of life after death. And because they exist, it is intelligent to realize, that life, though not exactly the same as what is experienced in our present mortal frames, continues once past the doorway of death.





Logic would dictate that leaving behind the frail mortal cloak we inhabit while in this current state of life, and leaving behind all physical materialism relative to our current existence, as well as all possibility of hedonism inherent to our bodies, the only thing carried on in the next state is the intelligence developed and the character forged. Following this line of reasoning then, the one sure thing to be in the next state will be what does go through death - other disembodied intelligences subject to the characters that they have formed.



In such a state, unobstructed by what you materially have, will character not shine out the brighter and will relationships not be more valuable than the gold that was left behind? What of the structure and order of that state? Will we not seek to comprehend and function in ways familiar to previous patterns to deal with the circumstances of that state? Will we not relate in established patterns? Will the values of that world's existence not be sought out in the familiar strategies of a lifetime of practise especially where interpersonal relations are concerned? Is it not rational to suspect that there will be more disembodied intelligences there, than current corporeal living beings here now? Is it not reasonable to follow that vein of thought and realize that there will be intelligences that are far older, intelligent, and wiser, to the circumstances of that state than the paltry years we were alive and what was known during our living state? Is it not evident that birds of a feather will flock together establishing orders of society to productively meet the needs of that state of existence. Is it not logical to conclude that those societies will reflect the polar ends of the spectrum of character due to the systems of order most likely established by the most intelligent characters present and the sheer volume of the individuals supporting such causes? Imagine numbers of that magnitude polarized. One society would surely seem akin to paradise while the other would be the worst prison ever conceived of by virtue of the methods of manipulation and enslavement to the cause. The tactics will be greater than any ever devised or experienced in life. Which camp would you want to be a part of?





If life continues after death, there will be individuals with millennial experiences and accumulated intelligence for ordering society for the needs and purposes of the requirements and circumstances dependant to that state of existence. Does it not therefore become prudent to establish organizations that would keep their constituents? Would not one of the two polarized camps reflect those based on justice, love, equality, forgiveness, and virtue and on the flip side a structure that enslaves individuals through pride, lies, deceit, counterfeit, and subterfuge? Death in that state is no longer a concern, and while exile is the only viable option left for removing a trouble causing individual from a group, would not the focus of all groups be to win over the hearts and minds of the masses for the benefit of the objectives held distinctly by the group? Meaning, does it not stand to reason that the forces of recruitment to a cause will be unparalleled to any other ever experienced in life? And will it not stand to reason that the level of both polar ends will amount to far greater expressions than what was ever demonstrated or experienced during life. Is it so incredible to believe that these factors will manifest a far greater capacity to progressively polarize and cement a polar character in the individual than what was forged in life.





Resultant, isn't it vastly more prudent to recognize what type of character we are forging in this life? Doesn't it also become incredibly important to be forgiving, long suffering, and patient for the purposes of helping others have more chances to change their own character before they exit this life into the next? After all, if suffering injustice in the short term gains you an ally and friend in the long term, is your result not substantially better off for doing so, even though it was hard to endure? And if a person does change their character, will they not of natural consequence, due to the disposition of the newly formed equitable character, thereby desire and do all they can to make up the wrongs they forced others to endure while on the less equitable path? Would they then not reward you for the freely given gift that assisted them to a better disposition? Would it not therefore be worth the trouble suffered in the living state?

And even if they never change their character, would they not meet the inevitable end and ultimate justice of the paths they walk and the character they build? Untimely vengeance to established wrongs or a
After all, will the truth of a lie not catch up to a liar in the end irregardless of our own power to expedite or lengthen that process? Will the hollow pillars of thievery and corruption not buckle and fall under the weight of works unowned and ill established, works that in and of themselves can not produce the pathways these individuals try to cheat? Either lies exist or they don't. Either corruption exists or it doesn't. The corrupt and the liar of necessity have to believe that these words do not exist, as well as truth, because their very definitional existence delineates that the end product will be loss to the expected result. The only means through which corrupt individuals and corrupt practices stave off the inevitable exigencies of truth are by preying on the ignorant, less intelligent, or less powerful to make up the difference. Once absent of people to prey on, such practices of natural consequence implode and fall apart. After death it is conceivable that the speedy and high polarization of character and the stark segregation of parties will produce the implosion of the corrupt society, while the other end of the spectrum grows in capacity and power. With such an outlook established, would it not then behoove us in this life to be forgiving, patient, and long suffering? After all, if there is such a thing as truth, things as they were, things as they are, and things as they will be, then it follows that there is such a thing as natural consequence prescribed by the inherent established order to those truths. What this means is that if there is truth, then there is a reckoning to all truths, whether that reckoning is good or bad for the individual depends on their chosen works or actions. The intelligent person understands that no liar, cheat, thief, or any other perverted or corrupt behavior or person escapes the shortfalls associated by operating under a delusion. That delusion being: that nothing but actions consistent with the truths of an endeavor result in the attainment, maintenance, or longevity of the sought after reward. Anything short of that requirement results disappointingly in anything but the sought after rewards.

With that understanding, we need not worry that anyone of us will in reality ever "get away" with anything dishonest, immoral, or crooked, in the least degree. All we really do is take a step closer to solidifying, in either polar direction on the character spectrum, our disposition.

Justice will win out in the end due to the known and established fact that truths really do exist. In the moment that we are hurt unjustly by a cowardly act, cowardly in the sense that the person is not courageous enough to step up to the correct, equitable, proper, or responsible behavior for their situation and has therefore tried to behave in a manner that takes advantage of you or brings destruction or loss upon you unjustly for their advantage, the quenching balm to the fires that might burn in our bosom reside in the knowledge that they will never get away with that action.

Patience will provide a dual service to us in such a situation.

The first service patience renders is in the understanding that should shine forth in our hearts and heads that; should we have the capacity in that moment to repay evil with what it deserves, but especially if we can not, we are providing that individual a kindness in our long suffering, for their sake, with the hope that they one day soon will understand the injustice they committed, and without compulsory means of retribution or deserved consequence, of their own free will, make the needed changes in their lives so to spare themselves from natural and undeniable ends.

The second service patience renders is the fact that should the individual never make the needed changes in character, it will only be a matter of time before we will witness justice dispensed upon them. For those of us that seek that type of fulfillment, it will not be as rewarding as our emotions in the moment of infraction might persuade us to desire. When justice finally overtakes those that try to evade the truth, the state of that individual will be so broken and miserable that it will pluck the very heart strings of pity and compassion within us.

And even if we are moved to, at that time, try and help them, it will be too late and ultimately ineffectual. After all, characters are an individual construction welded together by the links of choices. Irrespective of persuasions, our choices belong to us by virtue that we are the actors doing the choosing. Persuasions ultimately only vary our reasons for making choices but we ultimately determine what and why we choose the way we do. And in that choosing we shape a character. We own and make our choices as free agents. Once a character is solidified, meaning it reaches a polar end, that is where they will always remain. The fact that it is now their character solidified and invariable keeps them cemented there. Once there, they remain determined to stay that way on account of the long journey of experiences and reasons that formed the rationale to persist on that course.



To reshape a character is a private work wrought with personal discovery and independent choice and personal agency. Being forced to change behavior is not changing character. Forcing hands to comply or behave does not change hearts or minds. A person forced to merely behave differently or endure hardship without a clear understanding of personal error, a desire to change, or a resolution to do the hard work that will make the change possible, a.k.a. true repentance, a.k.a. a change of heart, through an alignment of the the mind to the truth of things, without this happening, character is unaffected even if behavior is conditioned, for character is not merely what you do, it is more, it is what you are.





What this means is that such individuals upon entering death's doorway, inherit the pre-disposition to the polar end they most have formed and solidified during life and once across the threshold of death they will be more apt to join forces with the group that most resembles their character. Is it therefore not prudent and intelligent to suffer for others for the benefit of gaining their allegiance to the cause of the polar end built on truth and which ultimately brings happiness and increase, instead of quickly destroying them for their trespasses, and injuries? Does not the intelligent person therefore see the benevolence is delaying the inevitable for the sake of rescuing their fellow and of consequence recovering more than what was exacted from them unfairly?





The polar end that inclusively attracts through appreciation, affection, acceptance - love, and charity, making all equal and allowing them accessibility to all things held, that all may be rich and enjoy equally is also the character that steels the innocent to suffer injustices. It is the one that teaches and practices - love thine enemy. To live a life of character requires reason and intelligence, it requires a firm mind.





The intelligent person is faithful to the truth, and operates in full compliance to what was, what is, or what will be, even though it might not be apparently seen or even if it might not be accutely proximal in relation to time and quite distant. The intelligent person stays the course of truth, it shapes that individual's choices, and relationships. In a word the intelligent person is faithful. The intelligent person is faithfully obedient to the demands of truth.

The truth of matters is the light by which we can see and know how to act and know what the results of those actions will present. The worst state of mind is a person that believes something to be true when it is not. Such actions never yield the full measure of fruit sought after. Such a state is to be decieved, to believe a lie, to live a lie, and it is the most damning state by which to measure action. Duplicity, deception, and lies are a means to acquire resources. They work for the short term, but in the long-term they make you a liar, distrusted, resented, and dangerous to others. It perpetuates a world of competition and enemies, a world of only one. It necessitates functions of retaining the resources accumulated, whether it be riches or people. Those systems of retention develop snares to enslave, bind, and control so far as is useful. They are built on manipulating the truth of things. They are found harvesting those that don't understand the truth yet and who have to trust someone because they don't know things for themselves yet. This world order is a lone and dreary world of one. Competing against everyone means no one can be an ally. And in this mental state, to play the part of an ally means to manipulate someone into a position that would favor your desired outcome and end result. To win, to meet the end that one desires, without traveling the road that gets to it necessitates that others travel that road and lose the prize so that you might obtain it. Liars are natural thieves. Thieves are natural adulterers, perverters of natural order, and murderers to trust and confidence, ultimately slave makers and life enders. These people unjustly recreate beings that are their equals into mere objects to be used, abused, and discarded once their usefulness is at an end.

The intelligent person is one that finds out how things work and joins associations that promote and assist the journey's needs to culminate at truth's ends. Intelligent people not only detest lies, but actively repudiate them and work against all those that would promote them. They are builders of people and destroyers of lies. Intelligent people amass helping hands, caring minds, and sympathetic hearts by serving and caring for others not for individual benefits that divide them but for the benefit that all of them may enjoy. One polar end creates enemies, the other friends and trusted allies. One polar end sees individuals equally diverse and uniquely special and important as self. The other sees only cogs, means to an end, resources unworthy of equality and worthy enough to discard and destroy for the sake of self.

The intelligent person has all this understanding and in it finds the determined courage and fortifude to steel themselves against the suffering brought on by the unjust and their injustices. It is the core that grants them restraint from using powers that they might hold to meet violations with equitable and repudiating resistance.

Magnanimous spirit is the one that with capacity to free self from pain and suffering endures for the sake of the benefit of patience for another.

To have the power to repay ill with immediate justice and defer for the sake of the very ones that injure, that is power.

To be humiliated, to be slandered, to be reviled, to be forsaken, to be forgotten, to be maligned, to be exiled, while holding the power to overthrow, with the power to throw down those that live in high towers with no foundations, to temper that flame - that shows true power.

Broken Systems shouldn't suprise to result in Broken Expectations

What do you get when you set up a system flawed and imperfect? At the end of its journey...failure and bitter fruit!

It is no secret that society's basic unit is the family. Before the industrial age, before the factories, before the hands, the cogs, the haves and the have nots, before the advent of all things modern and sophisticated and intoxicatingly distracting, there was a basic formula for survival.

To sustain our lives human beings need food. Every man, woman, and child ever born has had to eat food and drink water to live. In less advanced times society was genius to the necessity that to survive it needed to work together. Blood relations joined efforts contributing towards the vicissitudes of life. Why did they work? For power? For glory? For fame? For their personal comfort? For distinguishment and praise? No. The great majority of all of present day mankind's ancestors lived for each other. Working together was of greater benefit to survival than working alone, but the benefit was not the end and all. The strength of youth made up for the feebleness of the aged. The wisdom of years gave counsel and direction to the inexperience and impulsiveness of the naivety of youth. Life was about using the strengths of each other to advance the benefits of all, and all had a stake in the life of the other. Not out of mere duty, but out of genuine concern and affection, and appreciation. Certain current day personal demands were consciously relinquished, after all, excesses for one person or small group to the larger whole would mean dire consequences. The stability and ability of the whole, both immediately and in the future, might be compromised. In what did those people invest? Each other! In what product producing companies did they back - the ones that increased the survival and ability to live a more abundant life for all. In what pension did those people make consistent and often contributions? Each other! Back then they didn't hire lawyers and draw up contracts. They had bonds of fidelity, loyalty, honor, love! They held each other equal to each other. They were family. They were blood. They were the same. They were for each other.



Today there is a different system, pervasive, and oppressive. It is the system of the one. We work not for each other, but for money. Money now means resources. Money means acceptance, entrance, and approval. We care not, but for our own. Our own lives. Our own enjoyment. Our own time. Our own retirement. Our own perks. Our own fancies. Our own things. And it all comes by way of money. Show me the money. We have it all, but we have nothing.



I once had a conversation with a short sighted petty superficial force of a man. He was trying to indoctrinate me on the virtues of capitalism. He told me of all the benefits of big business throughout the industrial age and up to the present. He brought to mind well known wealthy men. Men who in history have amassed extreme fortunes, lived lavishly, gave token but useful charity throughout their lives and upon their death left significant monetary resources, and recognizably important societal institutions. Looking down at me while pointing his nose up in triumph, with the arrogance of one that believed himself to be in a competition and having won an exchange that makes them of superior moral stock, he ended with, isn't that a good thing? At that cue I asked him what he thought about the conditions and entrapment these businessmen used to amass armies of workers and keep them impoverished. Situations that to me amounted to legalized situational slavery. Did the top dogs ever really share with the cogs of their corporate human machinery the spoils of their own hard work so that they could grow to enjoy the things that they did? Or were they more interested in taking advantage of their circumstances to secure their top dog station throughout life? It seemed to me that the men this man so much revered, for their products, wealth, and empires, helped seed the problems which today are blossoming all around us. Much like imperialist of old these businessmen/empire makers helped institute systems that rewarded self serving, selfish, and individualistic behaviors, after all it made people quite easy to control. The system they created: greater capacity for the sake of greater reward. Quite the opposite of the old school mentality, greater capacity, greater production for the benefit of the whole, that the whole may live a better life, not just the most capable. I tried to tell this man that what he was reverencing was not capitalism but greed motivated by pride. I tried to show him that the systems of behavior these and other organizations had instituted was akin to hiring mercenaries. People that work for money, much like warriors that fight for money, regardless of heart, loyalty, or cause. People that could be kept in control through money. People with no real allegiance except to the systems of gaining power and riches. I told this man of the countless masses that slaved away trapped, lived in far worse conditions than the men that lived high on the hog from their combined efforts. I asked him how he felt knowing that these empires were built on the backs, blood, and lives of so many who in my estimation were very apparently taken advantage of. Can we not equally have celebrated the Pharaohs of ancient Egypt for the masses that died to build the wonders of the pyramids at the end of a whip? Could we not say in like minded conversation that the lives of those that died while in bondage are worth less than the wonders that they created? Do you not see the insensitivity and misguided values in such a statement?



He retorted, it was the workers choice to go to work for these men. I expected as much from this man, because even though he was a self proclaimed follower of Jesus Christ in his heart he resembled more of the cut-throat and self serving businessmen we spoke of than anyone else, except possibly his father, who was a like minded individual. I have learned that such a comment as the one this man retorted is a deflection of the issue. Choice was not the issue. With enough charisma, enough promised exaggerations, enough allurement, most people at least once, but especially people of weaker intelligence than that of the individuals doing the web spinning, can be tricked into consenting to something they would not choose had they known all the ramifications at the onset. Taking advantage of others, especially by tricking them into putting themselves into slavery, is not a matter of choice so much as a matter of character and intelligence. The individual with greater capacity and intelligence bearing the greater responsibility. So I posed the question to him another way. How would you feel if you were part of the working force for these men? How would you feel if you were subject to unsanitary and dangerous factory conditions, paid just enough to keep you coming back, but not enough for you to be able to facilitate any significant change? Relegated to nothing but one more hand. I don't remember exactly what he said but from what I recall he deflected again and began repeating all the advancements and benefits that came from his obvious false heroes. Its true much good has come from bad methods but that doesn't mean that the methods are good or that they should be enthroned as a standard. Speed will give you power to forgo sleep and function quickly and energetically for hours on end, and while the production, assuming there is productive work undertaken, will yield results that are substantial and unequivocal, no one in their right mind would recommend taking mind and body altering illegal drugs to gain alternately attainable results.


A system built on competition will with its capacity to catalyze production and results, bring with it a breeding ground for conflict, contention, disunity, disloyalty, cheaters, liars, usurpers, and suffer masses of people into bondage. Look around you and witness the effects of such a system as it begins to unwind. We are witnesses the product of a broken system. When our interests reside in each other, our successes benefit all, create loyalty, unity, empathy, honesty, productivity, honest creativity, and in the end will motivate far better than selfish filthy lucre ever could. That's what got people, families, and nations a healthy and more abundant life in the past, and it can do it again in the present, all it takes is switching systems. But then again such a switch would not advance the causes of the great empire makers, those people with golden parachutes, lobbyists, and political parties in their pockets. Those that know that their systems are broken, but who care not for the carnage of the broken lives of their employees, customers, share holders and who value the spoils they so value more than their fellows.

Do you want to secure your future, the future of your family, the future of this country? Then its time to invest in honesty, virtue, and your neighbor, and worry less about having the most, or living for self. If we all take care of each and do unto others as we would have be done unto ourselves, our country will prosper. The more we separate, and try subverting each other for the sake of money and perks, relegating each other to obstacles and dehumanizing each other to objects, void of empathy and compassion, the more quickly we will divide and fall apart. The United States of America has power by virtue of her people being united in the cause of truth and justice, shatter that union, and you shatter the power that makes the U.S. great. Its time to turn back to the old ways. Its time to be brothers and sisters again. Its time to take care to do things right and work under the system that has worked throughout the history of this planet. We need to get back to the basics, to our roots. We have to care for each other just as much as we care for ourselves. If we don't change, the broken system that has grown so widespread will break our union and subvert all the progress and good that we have accumulated. For a predominantly Christian nation, its time that we live like Christians should. Its time for this Nation to get back to being under God, taking Him out of our lives, hearts, prayers, schools, and nation has not worked out. Taking the ten commandments out of the government buildings has made it less oppressive for lying and stealing to abound. Its time to reinstate the codes that are the bulwarks of societal progress. Its time to stop trying to amass enough wealth and power to reinvent God and his ways, and actually get back to what works, keeping the counsels He has given which spare us from unnecessary stress, loss and fear. Is our pride so well established and hell bent for destruction that we will follow in the same mistakes every major and great nation on earth throughout history has fallen by? Is our pride preceding our fall? Lets let go of the pride. Lets adopt humility. Lets appreciate one another again. Lets accept one another again for the equality we share in being human beings brothers and sisters to the same general make up and life force. Can we not show affection for one another and win the hearts and minds of those that would dissent from such a path? Can we not be the shining city on the hill we are meant to be? Not shining from riches or wealth of precious metals but shining from riches and wealth of soul from precious virtues that shine and influence all around. There is nothing the American people once they set their mind to do can not do. If we have determined to implode, we will implode, but for all those that would have a different end, let us set our minds to pick up the mandate to be a people under (subject to) God. Then, I am sure, God will bless America.

Logi-sight

Directions:

Go and DO! Do this, or do that, but go and do. The favorite anthem of the masses, vague of detail or clear directive. It's often frustrating. Don't worry you'll figure it out, is often the counterpart to the dynamic duo of direction. I've come to the conclusion that people more often than not, when they give these broad directions have no real idea of what they say or how to properly instruct an individual. More so, it often reflects the insecurity of ignorance, masked in the cocoon of pride. It demonstrates a brusque shaking off of individuals who apparent to them, things they don't clearly know or understand. Instead of communicating honestly, they give directives without clear paths. They merely vent general assumptions as facts that would make them appear wise or prudent. Testaments to self-centered-ness and not the personal help petitioned for from the seeker. In the old days, to such people I would say poppycock, today I say your full of it - nonsense.



Success is founded on concrete steps that need to be taken to any specific destination. Like math 2 comes after one and three after two, there is order, each step leading to the next and eventually to any given destination. Give a person the proper understanding to those steps and if they have the means to take the requisite actions then they will succeed. However, more often than not it is not enough to tell a person, go do this, or go do that, and expect them to meet with success. Lesson one in life - accepting other people's assumptions are for suckers - the naive. Lesson two in life - the proud make lousy direction givers.



How do we recognize the proud. That's easy, they set themselves up above others. They carry an incessant need to validate their self worth by putting others below themselves, overtly or covertly, in words or deeds. They don't think you are worth helping, being above such practices, or merely feeling they are above you. If they do assist, they are more concerned on how they appear in the giving of the help. The giving is never about the one being given to, its always about the giver. More apparent is spotting the true helpers, the people without pride. They are the people that look upon you as if they were in your shoes and take into consideration the fact that all people are different and because of that fact general directions often have to be tailored for individual circumstances. These people are the ones that walk in your shoes for a mile or two, forgetting themselves long enough to give valuable direction and guidance. They make themselves acquainted with the details to the endeavor and recognize if they can be of assistance or not. They are the people that work with you to draw out a topographical map of the terrain, so you have the greatest opportunity for success, and not just a vague northerly or southerly glance with the cliche, go and do.


Success does not come by assuming small or great things. Success does not come with general actions. Success is in the details, constant and correct fulfillment of the details. In assuming, sometimes the assumptions are right, and they conform to the truth of the requisite steps for success. Other times assumptions are dead wrong or only partially right, which likewise do not lead us to the intended destination and therefore are just as wrong. Assumptions are only correct when they conform to truth, whether realized at the time or not. Assuming that you assume correctly all the time, whether because you call it confidence, or intelligence, or blessedness, or being spiritual, or cosmically linked to God, or a superior race, or because of past personal successes, or a feeling that you are more special than anyone else, still makes you not only arrogant but deceived and sets up for frustration and suffering, often spilling over onto others. Assumptions by definition means you do not have all the details and you are filling the unknowns with your personal beliefs on the situation. Arrogance is the perfect word meaning pretension, and - to feign. Feigning is a bad thing because you give the appearance that you do know, but you don't, you are merely assuming based on your beliefs and hoping to be correct.





No, I've realized that it is better not to assume what I can not, or do not know. After all, the beliefs that shape my assumptions are only viable if they reflect the truths of any given matter. I've also learned to take other people's counsel with great trepidation. Motives are everything, trusting the proud can lead you to the same frustrations and failures as trusting a well intentioned but incorrectly assuming individual. I have learned to look for the people that have walked on paths I seek to cross to get to the same destination. I've learned to beware of those that tell me to do, with no more information than do this or do that. If they follow it up with, it will all work out in the end, or trust me, then its a sure bet they have no idea what they're talking about or that they don't care for me. If that is all they give then they know less than they presume to offer.





Realists must live in the now, fully aware that there is a past and a future. They must be the most honest of people, if they are to navigate life correctly. They must realize that they don't know what they don't know. They must also realize that not knowing is not bad. They must realize that when you don't know how to get somewhere, no road is the right road, and no road is the wrong road, after all how can you tell, until you actually get to the right or wrong destination, or someone who does know tells you? Unless you have a person that can tell you the path ahead because they are familiar with it, unless you have a map of some sort, taking any road assures you nothing as to whether it is the correct one for your chosen destination. What can we do in such situations?





A realist would tell you, "I don't know if this is the right road." A realist would tell you, "I have made the best choice with the information I have and aim to see if it is the right one. Unless I gain more information than what I currently have, and that information determines that another road is the right one for my intended destination, I will first travel this path and find out, lest being on the right path, I turn away onto a wrong one."





This brings me to my point. How does mankind learn? What man on earth today navigates this life perfectly, following a perfect set of instructions? NONE!! Mankind more often than not learns through error. Unfortunately, we live in a highly pride-filled world that turns its nose up at errors, mistakes, wrong choices. As if that was the end and all - to be error free. No, the end and all is to have correct knowledge. Having correct knowledge guarantees, if we choose to use it, an error free existence. That so many make so many errors only shows that a correct knowledge is not had and that they are searching for the correct knowledge that would lead them to their desired destination. People learn by doing, but the key to that phrase is not there. The more complete and accurate phrase would be, "People learn by doing, but especially from errors."





Not having the correct knowledge can occur by diverse occurrences. One may never have been instructed, but even instruction guarantees nothing. Whether through loss of memory, or not fully grasping or understanding what has been conveyed, because it is new or because it is complex, the knowledge we may have gained may not reflect the knowledge that was transmitted. This consequently makes the knowledge we operate by incorrect and faulty.



The meat and potatoes of learning is trial and error in order to be certain. Take athletics for instance. No professional athlete has ever picked up their sport and done it perfectly. Only through the constant refinement of incremental improvement in the presence of constant failure do they master the skills necessary for their game. Mind you, this is much AFTER having a sound knowledge of the proper mechanics of the game.



Practice is the time to make all the mistakes you don't want to make in the game, and that you need to make in order to get to the point where you can execute correct knowledge unto an endeavor. Yes perfect practice makes perfect, but to get to perfect practice you have to go through the refinement of failure, and often much of it.


Academic endeavors are the same way. Lectures, whether clever or dull, confer instruction, but instruction learned means going through the fires of what you do and do not know, meaning have for yourself. Hence all the homework, quizzes, and testing.

Conclusion:



1. The faster one can correctly accept the information needed to accomplish any given endeavor the less frustration and failure one need suffer. The only way to personally know for sure if the information leading to the desired accomplishment is truthful, accurate, and viable is by testing it. Putting into practice is essential.



2. The likelihood of gaining the correct information is greatly increased by taking in counsel from individuals that know the path to the destination. The chances of correctly incorporating the proper steps to an endeavor are increased greater yet by someone that not only knows the way but that works with you to tailor suit it to your individual circumstances.



3. Recognize how the path to an endeavor shapes your character. This will determine the path as an honest one or as a dishonest one. This will make you honest or dishonest. And ultimately paths are not merely important for the destination prize, but for what they discover to our realization about ourselves, about what we hold as valuable and important, and in turn what that makes us. It shows our true character. What we would allow ourselves to become. What we truly want to become. What we choose to become.



Character:

The path to an endeavor may offer you the prize, but it may do so in a way that compromises the development of a good character. What is good? Is it not good to hold all other human beings as equal to the same treatment, honor, respect, value, and opportunity as you? To not only see them, but treat them as you would want to be treated? Is it not good to recognize that to be just and fair with all is good, to be charitable without self serving interest or reward - divine?



To steal gets you money just as much as honestly laboring for it does. Cheating on an exam gets you an "A" just the same as studying sufficient to have mastered the material does. Both paths reach the desired destination, however one road makes you a thief and a cheater, and the other a hard worker trained and skilled in a productive operation, and self reliant to the knowledge of a matter. The first binds you forever, the latter frees you forever. Aside from the injustice of how it affects people outside of yourself, the first makes you dependent. Like a parasite dependent on a host to survive. It can only consume and destroy what has already been made. If the host dies the parasite dies unless it finds other hosts. The latter makes you independent, a person of greater ability. The latter processes leave you things you can take as yours, and use in other circumstances, or for other aims at your disposal. The first is always at the disposal of its host.



Now we get back to why I have hard feeling towards the arrogantly assumptive direction giver. To steal, to cheat, to give a false impression (feign), is to lie. Lies are evil because for the believing person seeking a specific destination a lie leads them down the wrong path and away from the prize that they seek. Arrogantly assumptive direction givers often don't care enough to realize whether they are lying. Because of their pride, they thereby adversely affect those that are seeking direction. Whether intentional or unintentional a lie is an untruth passed of as a truth. It is an aberration of the truth.


Lies:

To steal money is to lie, it was not earned, yet it is taken and used as if it were, that is a lie. Earning money out of a mutually agreed upon labor, service or product is honest. All things are clearly agreed upon and consensually executed to the expected ends.




To cheat on a test is to lie. It is to say that one knows something that one does not, so to receive the benefits of knowing that thing.



There are many forms of lies. Not merely in words. Many of them gallivant with much power due to the effectiveness of their deceptions in this world. Many unscrupulous and conspiring people promote their lies to gain wealth and power.



Why is it bad to believe in lies? What happens to the people that doggedly cling to lies?


Pornography:

Take pornography as a lie for example. It is the biggest Internet industry, raking in billions upon billions of dollars, and extinguishing the happiness in the lives of countless masses. Isn't happiness a state of being content? Are we as human beings not content when we get what we expect or better? Don't lies then ultimately cause unhappiness because they can never fulfill what we expect, or give us anything better? Aren't then fantasies or dreams the most appealing yet at the same time the most torture some when they can not be realized? What might you say is the lie in pornography? Is it not the lie of getting the human body to respond physiologically to perceptual stimuli reserved for intimate physical encounters, when in fact there is no actual intimate physical encounter. Is it not the trade-off of sensual gratification for realism. What type of feelings do you think would be elicited in an individual when they are constantly exposed to images of things that they find attractive, desirable, and pleasurable yet, that are not real, and therefore unattainable? Is it any wonder that people would then not be haunted by the desire to pursue real life similar experiences and attain their fantasy? Meaning, the person that exposes them self to pornography physically responds at some level in the brain and body as if there was an actual person or persons in their presence. Yet there are no persons present. When mental satiation of the illusion spills over, would this then not drive the person to look for real experiences if possible, and live out their grand illusions? And if they have high resolve, would it not drive them to forcibly attain such experiences? Or if they resist the haunting urges would it not develop a state of conflict within them, as they kept such inclinations in check? Such are the natural offshoots of the lie. Internal and external states which do not fill the criteria for happiness - a content state. Is it any wonder then that pornography is in general a shared common factor for the people that carry on into criminal activities. What happens when you refuse to disbelieve a lie? Isn't it that other lies become easier to believe! Don't they?



People that expose themselves to pornography outright lie to themselves using fantasy material designed by the producers to elicit sensual sexual responses known to be powerful emotional states of attention. Sexy sells music and cars. Take off the Y and sex sells faster than any car and gets in the human head quicker than even the most intoxicating pop music. The producers know that the body is designed to experience intimate physical experiences as pleasurable. The producers know that pornography's lie is in getting the body to believe that an intimate physical experience is at hand when in fact it is merely the illusion of such an experience. They count on it! If sex has the power to help maintain, to some degree, the bond necessary to keep spouses together throughout life's tumult and the roughness of two individuals living in the same sphere, imagine turning that power into a means to keep clients in a business built around the illusion. Imagine getting people addicted to the euphoria of physical intimacy, but instead of having a partner, duping them, enslaving them, as a patron for a manufactured illusion. Suddenly, you're rolling in the billions. But in the wake, people are destroyed. They turn from the natural order of relationships, and that of their own bodies, to that of an illusion that can never fulfill them. They become weak of mind, desiring the imagination of others instead of reality, and more easily led to believe lies.

Lies are the damn ablest of things!

Divorce:

Another common place lie is society's current-age epidemic of divorce. Holding lightly the agreements entered into on the wedding day, couples make any and all excuses sound reasonable and legitimate for settling difficult problems with the end of any affiliation with individuals they once claim to have loved. People often, to get what they want quickly, and with minimal effort, are apt to create and believe delusions before accepting the truth of matters. For a fairytale relationship people marry and make promises they never intend to keep under the distinct circumstances of two unique and different individuals. Once reality sets in, and the consequences become apparent, people become conveniently delusional again. They construct or enlarge any and all reasons to absolve themselves from any responsibility attributed to the commitment they made on their wedding day. Unspoken fine print suddenly becomes readily trumpeted and en forcibly acceptable. What does this show. Definitely not a people of love, but readily a people of self centered selfishness. A people of pride. A society on the brink of a great fall. A people that marry into lies.

Love:

Love never fails. It supports. It helps. It does what is right. Love edifies. Love leaves a place better than how it found it. Where there is a true and real opportunity for real progress it is there. Love does not blindly enter into a martyrs role but appropriately behaves itself for the benefit of all involved. When love has an opportunity to sacrifice and give, it does so not sheepishly, not reserved, not for what they will get out of it, not grudgingly, but happily for the benefit of, and for what may yet be, for the loved one. Love appreciates. Love accepts individuals for their good and encourages more, but does not accept the bad behaviors. It is able to separate the two in a way that uplifts the good in the individual and discourages the bad while giving any and all opportunity for personal betterment. Too many lie to each other when they go to be married instead of, "I love yous" they really are saying, "I lust .....such and such .... in or of you!" When what they seek is not realized, then the liar's prism distorts the light again and unclaimed rewards spark angry dis solutions. Society's epidemic of divorce is a general reflection of a people's immoral habit to lie to oneself and each other.

Pre-marital Sex:

Another pervasive lie in today's society is that of premarital sex. The physiological, chemical consequences of physical intimacies are designed to have a pleasurable bonding effect between a man and a woman. The lie is that the bond has no continued promise to remain when these powers are used outside of marriage. To fulfill physical impulses by having physical intimacies with someone outside of marriage is a lie akin to that of pornography. It is the illusion of creating a lasting bond between a man and a woman. The lie - the fact that the bond will not remain. This effectually has a result in distorting a person's ability to discern their feelings appropriately. Broken relationships replete with sexual liberties demonstrate many similar dispositions to that of divorced people. Often they show extended signs of depression and other mental and emotional difficulties. It in essence sows confusion. Where confusion abounds, it is easier to get people to believe other lies. The mental and emotional disturbance resides in the fact that the physiological functional bonds created in physical intimacies are designed to keep mates together. Internally resolving the contradiction of these things is waking up to the battle of having these feelings persist with the realization that they are empty and will go unfulfilled. Another internal state, much like that of pornography, which leaves us devoid of contentment, feeling feelings of a thing desired, but which will not materialize. The opposite of happiness. Premarital sex is a lie.

Homosexuality:

Homosexuality is a gross lie. The functional anatomy of a man's reproductive organs is designed for the propagation of the species through sexual intercourse made functional through the female reproductive organs. Men can not reproduce with men. Women can not reproduce with women. Sex is intended for making offspring. It is also beneficial in keeping the would-be-parents together through means which we have already discussed. However, the primary functional purpose of sexual intercourse are not the feelings that come with it, these auxilliary factors while important, and which are meaningful in emotional, psychological, and relational purposes, are in fact powerful means for the primary purpose to succeed -reproduction. These factors, in fact, make it very difficult to cease from achieving the primary purpose. The physical pleasures associated with physical initimacies are designed to progress the body to the point of completing reproductive activity. The climax is getting sperm to join with a woman's egg. That the human mind, and/or the human body's senses can be manipulated and distorted is a well established truth. However, nothing can discount the function of anatomical distinction, function, and purpose. The lie is that sexuality is the same thing as sensuality. The truth is that sexuality has everything to do with propogating sexual reproduction. Sexuality does not stand alone, apart, or above the function it serves. The reproductive cycle is the reason that sexuality exists. The sensuality of sexuality promotes the occurence of reproduction. The truth is that homosexuals distort the functions of their physical bodies for sensuality. They distort the natural mechanics of the human body. Their affections are misplaced. It is a gross lie. Men, it is very apparent are designed to be with women, and women are very clearly designed to be with men, when it comes to this matter. To pretend to be, or play the part, of anything distinct from what you are physically in this matter, is feigning to be something you are not, after all you are physically a man or a woman. The lie is also the belief that sexuality has no function and is an end in and of itself. Sexuality plays a primary role in reproduction as well as a means for spouses to express their feelings on a physical plane and therby solidify their bonds. In a world where a duck can believe itself to be a dog, a man or woman can feel and/or believe themselves to be the opposite gender trapped in the wrong body, but that is a lie. The duck is not a dog, it is in fact a duck with webbed feet and no paws. It's belief does not change the truth. A lie can never change the truth. Why do people so engrossed in this deception feel inclined to change society's traditional and sound views, and even their own bodies, instead of conforming their misguided feelngs and minds to the conclusive evidence that comprise their own physical beings? Could it be for the same reasons that the lie of pornography enslaves people to seek out the ellusive illusion? Could it be for the same reasons that those that have premarital sex or those that have extramarital affairs are trapped by the misunderstanding and false conclusion of how their own bodies operate? Could it be that once under a lie long enough one can become permanently changed by it so that the truth is perceived as relative?


At that juncture wouldn't the only recourse become to seek to cahnge the state of affairs much like the porn addict seeks out thier fantasy? To change societal views requires resources and great influential power. To gain such power and resources, a campaign would need to be waged to make lies so common place that they soon become familiar and considered truth by the masses.

The Past to Present:

And so in the near past we have seen fall society's standard on marriage and the great embrace on divorce. We have seen the proliferation of the confusion between tolerance and acceptance. We have seen the minority try and change the laws to force the majority to redefine the definition of marriage. With lies so rampant and so powerful engulfing the minds of so many, is it any wonder we see a society with low morale, low confidence, and pessimism for the future. We don't see a happy society, could it be because at large lies have been allowed to permeate the mainstream such that a critical mass have begun to be persuaded to believe in them? Lying has become a way of life in today's fast paced world. Little lies, medium lies, and big lies all converging together to breakdown the moorings that keep civilization together. We see Enrons and 50 billion dollar panze schemes. We see financial meltdowns with the passionate flames of greed and the coals of lies. We are given false intelligence, who knows but for some faction's premeditated purposes, that lead to dire actions that de-stabilize the world community. Actions of war, sold upon lies, whether seen to be so or not, the actions are still built upon untruths. And lies always lead to the wrong destination as anticipated.

The war is on. The war for honesty. The war for civilization. The inherent miscalculation built into the purposes of those that seek to amass enough power and wealth to install their world order is that truth is truth because it is how things really are. The more the powers that be accumulate resources and powers and use them to set up an order distinct from the truths that hold up civilization the quicker they will bring the demise of civilizations, themselves, and all the unfortunate caught up in the wake of their collosal crash.

Our survival and progress hinges on our honesty.

We must not lie.
